LEGLESS IN PORTSMOUTH  When I lived in Portsmouth, a navy city on the south coast of England, there was a bit of a boozy culture at work, a bit like that at Downing Street over the last two years where Boris Johnson has presided over at least 16 parties despite covid lockdowns and restrictions. Staff would often retire to a local pub for an after-work drink that often did not end until the pub closed six hours later! There were quite a few drunken moments in Portsmouth, two such legless moments stand out. Before one annual Christmas dinner, a few staff including my good self, decided to start drinking early at lunchtime just to get warmed up for the evening celebrations. I got so warmed off that I had to take a walk along the seafront in the vain hope of sobering up before the real festivities began. I decided to sit down on a bench to take in the bracing air. I fell asleep on the bench and by the time I woke up from my drunken sleep I had missed the dinner. At a New Years Eve party, again attended by many work colleagues, I was talking to, okay I was trying to chat up, a woman from New Zealand in the kitchen. In the words of Jona Lewie, you will always find me in the kitchen at parties! But I made the mistake of mixing my drinks; I drank beer, wine, spirits and cocktails. As I was talking to the New Zealand woman I vomited all over her and collapsed to the floor. My friends had to undress me as my clothes were covered with sick and carry me to the nearest bed. I was told that the New Zealand woman was not impressed! When was the last time you got drunk? Have you had any embarrassing drunken moments? Have you ever been too drunk to have sex? Since leaving Portsmouth for Nottingham, I do not get so drunk when I go out. But there was one party, a sex party, where I drank far too much wine that I fell asleep on the toilet. Again my friends had to carry me to bed. And I did not get laid that night! There was also a time, after a posh dinner in a hotel, where I did not get drunk but my partner did. After retiring to the bedroom we started to have sex but she fell asleep during the act. Yes, I am that good in bed!  |

I have condensed all my major moments of leglessness over my lifetime in one short-ish post. Seriously, I am not an alcoholic!

Sounds like you had some wild times in your life my friend, and we always learn from our times of getting drunk on what we should and should not do.. When was the last time you got drunk? The last time I got drunk is when we were staying in motel hell and I got so sick now I might drink once every few months.. Have you had any embarrassing drunken moments? One time a girl friend and I went to a bar to dance and drink and have fun. I got so drunk that her daughter had to drive me home which was a few towns down the highway. But not before having to pull off into a Rest Area so i could get sick again. I never drank that much ever again after that incident I was so embarrassed. Have you ever been too drunk to have sex? Too drunk to have sex no that's definitely not me as I enjoy sex so much more if I have been drinking. When was the last time you got drunk? - With the increased awareness of drunk driving here, I don't get drunk much any more. When I was on the river cruise back in September, and only needed to stumble to my cabin, AND the drinks were FREE, I did indulge. Have you had any embarrassing drunken moments? For my end: I literally tried to pick-up a coworker at a pre-Christmas celebration - damn near dropped her, but still ended up having sex with her that night. On my partner's end: Had a lady puke on me once - that's a boner killer! Have you ever been too drunk to have sex? - One time, or at least I blamed it on the booze. But I was in my 20s, so more likely the girl just didn't do it AT ALL for me. (Even though YES, I did take her home.) Hello sailor When was the last time you got drunk? - At least 3 years ago Have you had any embarrassing drunken moments? - I puked in a taxi and had to pay for it to be cleaned. Have you ever been too drunk to have sex? - Yes...I must have been!

I tie one on once a year and that is New Year's celebrating it and my birthday even though it is technically on the 2nd. I am usually out New Year's which is why I do celebrate both ocassions. I get rip roaring drunk and become quite legless indeed. My friends always rescue me though and help me out..lol. As for having sex when intoxicated, it never works out for either parties....lol. xoxo

Wow spunky (wags scolding finger at him). Probably the last time I was SERIOUSLY drunk was sometime during the aughts. I have to try to be somewhat moderate these days because alcohol is an aggravating factor for my heart ailment, atrial fibrillation.

I don't get drunk. I get giggly but thats it. My behavior stays polite. I'm OCD Never been too drunk for sex.

It's not something I l do now; it takes a couple of days for me to recover if getting that drunk nowadays!
