 To buy or receive as a gift for me this Valentines Day. I can't even remember when I got a card last? Then again giving cards for Valentines day is somewhat old school.

For me it's just another Monday. A cold Monday as the temps won't get out of the teens they say. By mid week ( Hump Day ) we are expected to be somewhere in the middle fifties. You've got to love the weather in February, don't like it ? Wait five minutes.

I have no idea if the new tenants moved in above me or not this past weekend? After waking up on Saturday, I noted the apartment was freezing.. seems some idiot left the front door to the stairwell standing wide open. Could have been them moving stuff in, then again there was a car parked on the wrong side of the street in front of the building when I went it to work that morning at six. It seems a couple in another unit above me had an overnight male guest. Saw him leaving, doing he walk of shame as I went back to my apartment after shutting the front door. The dude looked like he been drinking all night long and should have stayed in bed. Then again the male half of the couple usually gets home from his third shift job about that time so I expect the dude needed to leave before the guy living there got home?

We only had a trace of snow fall over the weekend. So I doubt I'll have to shovel today. I expect I'll be sent over to the recent move out. A single woman with the two yappy dogs had been moving out boxes all last week. When I went to dump the office trash on Sunday I noted the mini blinds were up and the unit dark. Funny the place wasn't on the board for being a move out? I'm guessing it being one of the places I delivered a "time to renew your lease" notice to last week, that she opted to vacate? Who knows? As long as I'm inside today out of the cold air I'm good.

Well I suppose I should hop into my shower now..it might warm me up as the apartment seems chilly again this morning. More than likely some dunderhead left the front door open again.

That I did my friend. A basement unit, no heat in it, been vacated for months on end because of that fact. Turns out the PM had rented it, the move in date being listed on the board as A.S.A.P. Meaning when it got done the new tenant would be informed that it was okay to move in. Turns out signals were crossed and the new tenant showed up last Friday expecting to do just that, move in. Well needing just about everything done yet in the place to make it ready. It was all hands on deck around here to get it done. I spent all day in there yesterday, freezing my buns off as guys kept coming in and out while working to get everything ready and leaving the doors open. I worked an hour OT when the boss finally told me to go home that he and the other guy could handle the rest of the flip. I have no idea if they got the new furnace in or not? Or if the new tenant moved in or not? Not the way I wanted to spend a Valentines day, but then again I had no plans to do anything else. I went home, ate some dinner, and went to bed early.
