 Then again warm is a relative term. The projected high will be around thirty degrees, two degrees shy of freezing. Like I said, the term warm is kind of relative. The sun was shining all weekend here...though the rays gave little in the way of warmth. The salt on the steps did it's job, and they looked pretty clear when I went out to work yesterday morning. The ice hanging from the back decks is astounding, as thick around as a horses hind quarters and just as dangerous to be around. I expect the Boss and the other maintenance guy will be out today knocking the things down before the stuff falls and smashes the decks, or worse drops on someone's head. With flat roofs on the buildings around here the gutter systems can't keep up with the water run off, being filled with ice and snow it over flows causing the build up on the eaves.

The Boss hired a new guy last week. I think he's supposed to start today? The new position/ new hire is a paintenanace one. A jack of all trades person to be used where needed. Painting, maintenance work.. what ever the situation calls for. Hopefully with the new hire it'll take some of the load off my aching back?

It's my oldest sons birthday tomorrow. Yep, he missed being a Ground Hog Day Baby by one day. I must remember to send him a birthday text. I'd call but he and his brother live in a different time zone, and I never know what time it is where they are in relation to the time it is here. Always calling them when they are at work and can't chat etc.

I expect I'll be going back to that unit I started on Friday and didn't get to finish being called out to shovel snow in the afternoon. I assume the painter will be in getting in my way of cleaning as he starts his work in there. It's not too bad I suppose, I've got the kitchen pretty much done, just the stove to clean yet. Then into the bathroom to clean it up and get it ready for painting. Windows are easy to clean in the winter. With such cold temps I can't tilt them in to do the outsides of them. Any liquid I put on them just freezes up and smears when I try to wipe it off. I've asked to get some windshield washing fluid so I can use that, but the boss never picks any up..so I just clean the inside of the windows when it so cold out.

Any who, I'm going to hop into the shower now. See if I can't warm up a bit ....

 Happy Birthday to your son today my sexy friend.. Time goes fast doesn't it? It is also warming up here finally for the next few days but with it comes more snow this week damn it all..lol. Have a good one Hun..xoxo

 We are expecting a slight cool down Thursday. Snow. Low of 6 and high of 22. Won’t last long.

 Their predicting 48 degrees for a high today with almost the same range of wind being 45 to 50 and possible gusts of 60 😲 Sounds like the New guy is doing essentially the same job as you 🤠
