I love this story of you both. I get along well with my 16 year old daughter but I do not tell her anything of my dating life. Well, very little... Saw my daughter yesterday for a bit. We had a family and friend baby shower for her and her husband, (OMG, still not use to calling him her husband!!!!). I love my daughter dearly and she is a smart, strong and amazing young lady. We do not have that kind of relationship however, she tends to be way more serious about life. She has a way different sense of humor than I do. Then again I don't get to see my daughter often either, we almost have to schedule an appointment to have a voice conversation. "I will pencil you in for a phone call on Thursday from...."  She just thinks I am whacked in the head... It is wonderful that you have that kind of relationship with your daughter.
